Senior Business Manager Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking a Senior Business Manager at Museums Victoria. To learn more about Museums Victoria, please visit About us - Museums Victoria ABOUT THE POSITION:The purpose of this position is to coordinate and support the development and delivery of expert level financial and business management information and analysis to senior management and key stakeholders that enables the effective management of Museums Victoria's resources. Some of the key duties include: Coordinate and support the development and delivery of key strategic financial management deliverables and policies. Regularly monitor and deliver timely and robust financial management and business analysis, reporting and advice to key stakeholders, identifying trends, risks and opportunities. Provide advice in the development of business cases, and budget, financial, and visitation modelling activities with a particular focus on return on investment. Lead the development of Museums Victoria's internal budget and delivery of financial management activities. Contribute to business improvement programs, projects and services. The successful applicant will have: High level experience and knowledge of financial reporting and business analysis, accounting requirements and accounting standards. High level proficiency in the use of financial management and business intelligence systems, and advanced level with MS Excel. High level experience in developing and monitoring budgets for a large, complex organisation. Sound conceptual and analytical skills applied to business, systems and accounting scenarios with a high level of attention to detail. Sound people management skills and attributes including developing and mentoring staff. Demonstrated ability and experience communicating financial and business information to a wide range of stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner. High level initiative and organisational skills, with a track record of providing a strong customer focus and meeting organisational timelines in a quality assured manner. Demonstrated ability and motivation to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team environment. OTHER INFORMATION This is a Full Time, ongoing role.
