The Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) provides essential corporate functions to the Northern Territory Government, enabling agencies to focus on their core business. Workforce Services are delivered to client agencies under a centralised services model across a geographically and culturally diverse environment. The Workforce Operations and Partnerships team provides support across a range of areas including Employee Relations, Workforce Performance portfolios, Recruitment, Workforce Health Management, and Generalist Human Resource support. As Manager, Workforce Operations and Partnerships, your primary objective is to provide high-level advice and support on workforce relations matters through a client-focused enterprise model to Northern Territory Public Sector agencies in Central Australia to assist them with management of their human resources, in particular case management. As a subject matter expert, you will provide clients with a responsive, high-quality advisory service and end-to-end support to ensure the successful delivery of business objectives. Your demonstrated knowledge and experience of operational Human Resources Management will assist you in undertaking complex HR matters, management of employee complaints, discipline, disputes, medical and performance matters, and early intervention to achieve desired outcomes. In addition, you will undertake research and analysis of HR data, lead or contribute to strategic HR projects, and collaborate in the development of contemporary HR management strategies, policies, and procedures aligned to corporate objectives, legislation, and public sector initiatives. This role will make good use of your high-level communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, your well-developed written skills, and your ability to establish collaborative relationships and influence human resource practices. A relevant tertiary qualification in human resources or a related field would be well received.
