As our client continues to secure greater market share, they require an experienced Sales Representative / Business Development Manager to work closely with the National Commercial Manager. This role will work with wholesalers, End Users, Switchboard Builders, Contractors, OEM's, Wholesalers and Technical Distributors primarily with a mining and major industrial focus and will involve: working with a national business plan and strategy for the achievement of sales goals set-out by the organisation; participating in strategic tendering plans and processes that will deliver professional and targeted winning bids; actively implement the action plans to penetrate existing/ new markets and customers; preparing commercial and technical proposals; maintaining accurate records of all sales plans and activity reports; maintaining contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction; and ensuring a CRM-Pipeline database is maintained with accurate information critical to achieving targets. To be considered: an electrical trade or tertiary qualifications for an Australian institution; demonstrate a proven track record in a similar electrical industrial solutions based sales environment; highly tuned business development skills complemented by an ability to negotiate and influence at all levels; the ability to understand customer needs and work with the engineering and technical teams to determine the best solutions for the customer; a stable career history working within a reputable organisation; professional presentation, excellent communication and organisational skills; the ability to work autonomously or a part of a national sales team when required; and the ability to travel regionally to meet customers and inspect sites.
