We are looking for a Visiting Medical Officer in Colorectal Surgery.The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in pelvic exenteration and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement, and administrative activities within the Colorectal Surgery Department and Hospital as required. The appointee will provide clinical and academic experience and leadership in pelvic exenteration, treatment, and research, and participate in all Pelvic Exenteration Statewide Service multidisciplinary team meetings.They will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encourage an academic environment that supports education, research, and professional development. The successful applicant will be registered or eligible for specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) with recognised qualifications and/or formal training in Colorectal Surgery through the Australia and New Zealand Training Board of Colorectal Surgery and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
