THE ROLE:The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) is seeking an experienced team lead for the Travel and Postings Team.The Travel and Postings team sit within the People Branch as part of the Corporate Services Group and is responsible for providing Travel and Postings support, advice and services for the agency in a global environment (with almost half of our workforce operating in 60+ international locations). The role will also have a role in the management of Austrade’s global medical program.To be successful, an ability to manage competing priorities, resourcing and interpreting policy will be essential. You will need to have a key focus on customer service and the ability to plan ahead to mitigate potential issues, with a mindset to focus on process and business improvements. An in-depth knowledge of Commonwealth travel arrangements, operational requirements and associated services will also be an advantage as will your staff management experience.You will be solution focused with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to manage key stakeholders across various levels of seniority.
