Paediatric Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist
We are seeking a confident and experienced children's nurse to provide maternity leave cover for a Band 6 Children's Oncology / Haematology CNS.
The successful candidate will join an established team dedicated to managing cancer and haematology conditions in children, working across East Suffolk. They will provide specialist clinical advice and care to children and young people with cancer and haematology conditions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide a specialist nursing service to children with cancer and haematology conditions and their families.
* Work as part of a multi-professional team, ensuring children with cancer and haematology conditions and their families receive the highest standard of care and support.
* Develop and implement patient care plans, including the development of clinical guidelines, specialist protocols, and education programmes.
Requirements:
* Experience caring for children with cancer (proven at Band 5)
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
* Mentoring / supervision of other professionals
* Registered Sick Children's Nurse/ Registered Nurse (Child)
* BSc
* Oncology related course / recognised qualification
