About the opportunity:
Position: Cook
Vacancy: Fixed term temporary full-time up to 6 months with a possible extension up to 12 months / 76 Hours per fortnight
Location: Housekeeping / Ingham Health Service / Ingham

* Salary range: $2585.80 to $2710.40 p.f. (OO3)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
* Although not mandatory a relevant trade qualification in cooking or previous work experience in a similar role would be desirable.
* Possession of /or willingness to undertake studies leading to a Food Safety Supervisors Certificate.
* Highly regarded: Experience in prioritising and co-ordinating work schedules to meet deadlines.
* Highly regarded: Basic understanding of or the ability to acquire knowledge of workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination practices and behaviours as applied in the working environment.
* Highly regarded: Demonstrated comparable level of competency-based skills in professional and dietary cooking in a health care setting would be desirable but not mandatory for this position.
* Probation period may apply.
