They combine their competencies and passion with one common mission: to serve customers best!Reporting to the Director Health, Safety & Environment, you will support and coach operational managers and service partners within your client group across a broad range of HSE generalist activities. Responsible for driving consistency and continuous improvement across and within business units in order to standardise, simplify and promote best practice HSE service delivery and compliance. Key activities will involve:Leadership of the assigned business in Health Safety and Environment by delivering exceptional safety advice and support in line with Jet Aviation standards, workplace protocols and regulatory frameworks.Promotion of reporting of hazards, incidents, and environmental events from Jet Aviation team members.Delivery of safety education of best practice measures for all team members.Work with managers to ensure core issues are identified and agreed actions are effective and practical, and subsequently lead the implementation of those actions and ensure sustainment / compliance.Design and development of safety standards and workplace protocols for the facilities.Engage and encourage others to participate in quality improvement audits and incident reporting/investigations to minimise risk and promote safe work practices in aircraft and non-aircraft environments.Develop, facilitate, promote, implement and evaluate work health and safety education/training for employees in response to identified and emerging needs.Undertake risk based spot audits and quality control surveillance in reducing quality escapes.Interstate travel will be required in supporting the business needs.What will help you to succeed?
Qualification of at least a diploma level and/or higher in HSE Management coupled by comprehensive knowledge and experience in contemporary HSE management services, demonstrated customer service skills, proven ability to deliver best practice HSE support and advice.Sound knowledge of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management processes/practice and understanding how you contribute to both regional (Asia Pacific) and global HSE objectives within a matrix structure. You undertake objective analysis, identifying issues and risks, thinking laterally and pursue innovative solutions in accordance with legislation, policy and procedures.Ability to understand your client requirements and demonstrate a strong customer-focus, consulting and liaising in a concise and articulate manner through the use of structured written and oral communication.
