We are seeking an experienced and skilled Motor Mechanic as well as a car enthusiast who wants to become qualified to join our dedicated team in our workshop. The main role is to diagnose, repair, maintain and test motor vehicles. Main duties include repairing damaged engines and motor vehicle parts in emergency situations for company vehicles and for external customers that are on-site or off-site. All vehicles are thoroughly repaired and inspected as per workshop ( Industry) standards for total customer satisfaction.
Motor Mechanic Position Description:
Perform full mechanical inspection of all vehicles
Service and repair petrol fuel systems of vehicles
Repair and replace turbo chargers
Inspect and service braking systems
Repair and replace emission control system.
Repair and replace suspension systems and exhaust systems
Inspect and service emission control systems
Test, service, and charge batteries
Inspect and service engines
Carry out repairs of car motor engines
Repair ignition systems
Service and repair electronic spark ignition engine management systems
Repair charging systems and starting systems
Service and repair electronic drive management systems
Service and repair electronic body management systems
To be considered for this role, you should
Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade
Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, rewards given.
Good customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
Current driver's licence and your own reliable transport
