The Delivery Executive is responsible for the overall management of multiple projects or programs throughout their lifecycle. They provide leadership to cross-functional teams responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria.The Delivery Executive also ensures adherence to project & program management methodology best practices, provides project manager mentoring, performs Project Management Reviews, and reinforces enterprise knowledge management through communication of lessons learned and best practices development.The Delivery Executive assists during the Bid Phase of the customer engagement by providing input into the proposal especially around delivery methodology, project structure, organization, scoping, estimation, and risk assessment.The Principal Project Manager/Delivery Executive is:Responsible for delivery, governance and outcomes of SAP Cloud projects throughout all stages of the delivery lifecycle.A trusted partner for our customers, partners, internal leadership and key stakeholders.Responsible for communicating and coordinating with employees at all levels of the organization including senior management, consultants, and vendor resources.Drives the establishment of plans, schedules, tasks, identifies risks, determines mitigations and contingencies, and reports the status of projects.Provides senior leadership to critical and strategic engagements and drives the delivery of project outcomes as defined in the relevant contractual documents.Supports the development of mutually agreed customer success criteria for project engagements.Delivers successful outcomes as per the agreed commercial framework, SAP delivery methodology, relevant project management standards and tools.Leads and works across matrixed CS&D teams to support seamless customer experience and delivery success.Being a team player and knowledge sharing with peers is an essential part of the SAP culture.Key Responsibilities:Excellent facilitation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to effectively engage with executive stakeholders, partners, and SAP account teams.Sales Support and Opportunity ManagementRepresent delivery to drive and define the project scope, schedule, resourcing, effort estimations, and risk assessment for key deals and opportunities.Support solutioning of deals to ensure successful delivery from customer outcomes and financial perspectives.Ensure appropriate methodologies are incorporated, including usage of SAP accelerators, tailored to Customer needs.Contribute to Project Proposal Reviews conducted with the customer by advocating the project delivery plan and Cloud Project Delivery approach.Executional Excellence:Ability to consistently achieve results and exceed targets.Monitor revenue, margin and take corrective action to ensure commitments are met.Evaluate complex situations accurately and identify viable solutions for successful outcomes.Actively participate in delivery governance and program SteerCo with customers.Interface with internal functions and leverage support across the organization to ensure visibility and transparency of results.Empower Project Managers and junior team members to manage within their engagement level accountabilities.Focus on customer service and quality, proactively manage engagement top risks/issues across multiple engagements.Understand Partner Management aspects relevant to individual customers.Operational ExcellenceEnsure transparency and predictability of engagements under delivery within SAP, Partners, and Customers.Maintain highest standards of business integrity and compliance on all programs.Drive compliance through utilization of internal tools and adhering to processes.Ensure effective execution of all Project management activities.Work with Project Managers and Resource Managers to define the Project team structure.Review SoWs for 3rd Parties and sub-contracting entities.Optimize the use of nearshore and offshore delivery.Project financial planning and management.Collaborate with technical and functional consultants to develop detailed project plans.Scope management covering full scope definition against the original Statement of Work.Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) log/processes.Manage the Project deliverable reviews and approval processes.Work closely with Project Sponsors and Project Review Boards to facilitate timely decisions.Manage escalations and take accountability for the de-escalation process.Ensure timely appropriate Customer sign-off is achieved.Ensure lessons learnt are captured and feedback provided.Ensure knowledge transfer to the subsequent owner in the life cycle has occurred.Celebrate Project success with teams.Governance & ReportingEnsure all Project activities are performed in accordance with SAP Methodology, Quality Standards, Reporting and Governance frameworks.Build a trusting and efficient working relationship with the Customer and 3rd party stakeholders.Ensure governance forums are operationalized and recorded.Comply with SAP internal financial processes for projects.Coordinate and effectively communicate with other SAP and Customer stakeholders.Develop and drive strong Customer C-level relationships on strategic accounts.On a Continuous Basis:Maintain awareness of the CS&D strategy and promote understanding and adoption within the Project or Program.Lead by example, mentor and coach other team members.Maintain up-to-date records of mandatory training.Maintain awareness of certification-related literature.Contribute actively to the ANZ CS&D Delivery Management Business.Participate in the development of Project management best practices.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of SAP solutions and of the CS&D business processes.Qualifications and Experience:10+ years of project management experience in the delivery of medium to large-scale cloud projects.2-3 years Program Management experience or significant experience in managing complex projects.Experience with SAP and SAP Cloud products.Experience working for and/or delivering projects within government agencies is preferred.Experience delivering in parallel across multiple customer cloud projects.Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and cross-functional teams.Expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables.Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope, and quality.Ability to identify risks and anticipate challenges.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills.Organizational and time management skills.Experience mentoring and coaching people on project management methodologies.Management of remote resources.Cultural awareness and experience working
