Tresillian is pleased to announce this opportunity for a motivated and experienced Child and Family Health Nurse to join the Level 2 referral service through an innovative Mobile Van-based model of service delivery .
The Tresillian2U Early Years Parenting Service (T2U) is provided from a fit-for-purpose van which will be based at Moruya and travels to Eurobodalla. The T2U service will visit towns of lower population density within a designated area on a rotational basis providing individual consultations, group programs and community engagement activities. This unique service model provides greater access to care and support for families experiencing complex early parenting difficulties, while being connected for clinical support through the Tresillian network of services. The successful applicant will work as part of a team with an Aboriginal Health Worker, establishing key connections and opportunities for collaboration with local service providers to improve the pathways to care and support for families.
The Royal Society for the Welfare of Mothers and Babies, trading as Tresillian, was formed in 1918 to coordinate early child and maternal health care services in New South Wales (NSW). Tresillian is now the largest early child and family health and parenting service in Australia, operating from four sites in metropolitan Sydney and numerous regional and rural sites supporting service provision to families across NSW, Victoria and ACT.
Tresillian is a Certified Child Safe Leader and is dedicated to creating a workplace environment where children’s rights are recognised and championed.
