The Role
We seek a passionate and enthusiastic Visual Arts and Design Technician to join our team. As the Visual Arts/Design Technician, you will work closely with your counterpart to assist in the running of the Visual Arts and Design Departments. This includes ensuring stocks and equipment are maintained, staff are supported, and creative artworks are shared throughout the school.
Key Duties
* Ordering and maintenance of stock and supplies
* Curation of exhibitions and rotation of artwork
* Organisation of repairs and maintenance of equipment
* Ensuring specialist resources are available and well maintained
* Providing students and staff with support, technical and creative advice
* Assisting with Artist in Residence Program
Skills and Experience
Practical experience in Visual Arts and Design is essential. You should be able to adapt, be flexible, and organised with excellent communication skills to liaise and build relationships with staff and suppliers. A Driver's Licence and willingness to obtain a Ladder Licence are also required. An Employment Working With Children Check is necessary for this role.
