Location: We’re based in the Yandina Industrial Estate, so a current driver’s license and reliable car are essential.
Qualifications & Experience Preferred:
* Hands-on experience in food production or a similar industry.
* Understanding of WHS, QA, and Food Safety Procedures.
Your Role: As a key member of the production team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our factory runs efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assistance and support to the Production & Engineering Manager and QA & Food Safety Officer.
* Maintain quality control throughout the production process, ensuring products meet all specifications.
* Operate food processing and packaging machinery.
* Uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality.
* Perform general duties as directed by the Production Manager.
* Provide on-the-job training to production staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
* Lead by example, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Assist with planned and breakdown maintenance of machinery.
* Oversee raw materials, WIP, and finished goods quality control.
* Supervise and motivate production teams, driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
* Monitor, create and introduce Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for our Factory.
* Help conduct Risk/Hazard Analyses and write the relevant SOP or Work Instructions for the safe handling/operating/function of the production floor.

Requirements:
* Current driver’s license and reliable car (due to limited public transport in Yandina).
* Willingness to undergo a Q Fever vaccination if selected for the role.
* Ability to work after hours and Saturdays if production demands.
* We pay above Award, and pay will reflect experience.
