An exciting new opportunity has become available within the Mainfreight Transport Narangba Branch in the role of Sales Cadet.
1. Spend 12-18 months ‘hands on’ experience learning the business from the ground up within key transport functions such as depot operations, administration and/or customer service.
2. Upon completion of your sales cadetship you will move into customer facing sales representative role receiving a company car, laptop and mobile.
3. From here you will have an individual new business target to achieve within a supportive team environment so that you may succeed.
4. Autonomous and dynamic role performing a variation of different sales tasks such as prospecting, appointment setting, attending customer meetings, proposals, KPI reporting and closing.
5. You will work closely with your fellow sales team members across different Mainfreight brands locally, interstate and globally building your professional network within the business and leveraging key customer relationships.

Skills & Attributes
7. Previous sales experience desired, but not necessary
8. An absolute desire to delight customers and a genuine ‘Can Do’ attitude
9. Promotable, self-motivated, driven and strong desire to develop and succeed
10. Strong written, verbal and oral skills
11. Enjoys meeting and talking to people
12. Curious mind and genuine interest in supply chain and logistics
13. Have an aptitude for self-learning and taking initiative towards own professional development
