The role The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for providing accurate, timely and efficient payroll services for the organisation's employees. You will ensure all operational aspects of payroll processing and associated activities are accurate and delivered within appropriate time frames.
The Mediabrands stakeholders you will be working with include: HR, Finance, Shared Service Centre (SSC) team, Payroll Systems team in HK and Agency HR Global Operations teams.
Key Responsibilities: Payroll daily operation Ownership of payroll cycle two times (main cycle and off cycle) a month for over 750 employees, processing accurately to meet the deadline.Update, maintain and administer any changes to payroll in ADP.Data entry adjustments across both ADP & Hrlink (People Soft) systems and checking of data across both systems.Single Touch Payroll reconciliation and reportingAllowances, Termination, Backpay and RedundancyUnderstanding of Payroll, Australian employment taxes (PAYG & Payroll Tax) & legislationEnd of Month & End of Year processingManagement of the Government paid parental leave scheme.Provide a responsive, accurate client advisory service on basic payroll matters such as resolving enquiries and assisting in identifying payroll errors.Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-ups, client responsiveness and communication.Management of the Payroll OfficerWork closely with the HR team on employee mattersTrain the payroll officer and provide guidance and assistance where required.Assist management in identifying issues and implementing potential improvements within the payroll function.Managing superannuation, and reporting.Manage Workcover related wages and payments.Support on request various leaves calculations in system including annual leave and long service reconciliations.Maintain staff novated vehicle lease payments, deductions and timely calculation of other salary sacrifices.Payroll reporting Monthly annual leave and long service leave reportsMonthly main cycle payroll reportsOff-cycle reportsEmployee Referral PaymentsSalaries adjustments and reconciliationsPay cycle reports, e.g., SSL, GTF, TrialsLeave analysisFinance month endProvide month end payroll pack reports to finance teamAbout you A minimum of 5+ years end to end payroll experienceWell-developed oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability for liaison, negotiation, and representationAbility to work well within a team across multiple departmentsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailSolution-focused – we love problem solvers.Good time management to meet multiple tight timelines, while still maintaining work qualityProficient in current payroll systems, such as SAP, ADPExcellent communication skills, willing to work effectively with broad range of stakeholdersThe ability to demonstrate a track record of utmost confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with payroll records, privileged information and other sensitive dataWhy should you join us?
