We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Storeperson to join our Cairns Branch team. Whether you're looking to kickstart your career or bring years of experience to a new challenge, this "hands-on" opportunity is tailored for you.
Responsibilities:
You will:
1. Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders in a retail environment.
2. Process inbound and outbound goods in a timely manner, including loading and unloading containers/vehicles.
3. Provide accurate stock availability reports.
4. Maintain a high standard of customer service.
5. Follow detailed instructions and adhere to company procedures.
6. Ensure an excellent standard of housekeeping in the warehouse.
7. Participate in stocktakes and perform general warehouse duties.
About You:
We welcome candidates with varying levels of experience:
1. Junior Storeperson: Prior experience preferred but not essential! Just a willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and deliver excellent customer service.
2. Experienced Storeperson: Proven skills in picking, packing, dispatching orders, and inventory management. A forklift ticket is highly regarded. If you don't have a forklift ticket yet, don't worry—we value your willingness to learn and grow with us! Regardless of experience, a passion for working safely and maintaining exceptional housekeeping is essential.
3. A current driver's license is required.
