Mental Health Team Leader
This role is integral to providing clinical and team leadership, supervision and operational management of a multidisciplinary mental health team.
* Provide high-level clinical services, including complex care, to improve individual health and wellbeing.
* Lead the planning and provision of clinical services by the mental health team.
* Coordinate referral, crisis management, assessment, reviews and transition planning within a case management framework.
* Promote consistency, quality and safety of services through clinical supervision and support.
Clinical Service Delivery
* Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and lead ongoing quality improvement activities.
* Chair multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to decision-making regarding suicide risk assessment and management.
* Enhance team skills and knowledge through training, education and policy development.
Team Leadership
* Embed a high performing team culture through good leadership, management and administration.
* Manage team meetings, knowledge sharing and recruitment activities.
* Develop a robust succession plan and monitor team performance.

Professional Qualifications
* Psychologists: Tertiary degree qualification in Psychology from a recognised institution and full general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Social Workers: Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
* Occupational Therapists: Tertiary degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognised institution and registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
