A Career in Business Services or Audit
We are currently seeking students who are interested in joiningour Business Services and Audit teams for our 2024/25 graduateprogram. Our graduates are very important to us, as we recognisetheir potential to become our firm’s future leaders. For theright candidates, these positions provide strong pathways forcareer development, as part of our growing firm.
As a Graduate in Business Services, you will have theopportunity to build a strong foundation for career progression.You will gain a solid understanding in the following areas:
* Business reporting including payroll, superannuation, GST, financial reporting and ATO deadlines
* Software exposure, including training and certification in systems such as MYOB and Xero.
Your career development will then progress to developingtaxation and business advisory expertise. These skills will bedeveloped through on the job training within our supportiveBusiness Services team environment as well as formal structuredlearning support.
As a Graduate in Audit, you will get ‘hands onexperience’ and be involved in real client work. You will besupported by our experienced team every step of the way. You willoften be away from the office, spending time at the client’spremises, building an understanding of the client’s business,identifying potential risks, and analysing information to providethe client and their stakeholders a level of assurance on thefinancial statements. You will be supported in your careerdevelopment with a formal structured training program and on thejob mentoring.
About you
We welcome students who are interested in joining BusinessServices and Audit teams, and who have the following qualificationsand attributes:
* In their final year of study or have previously completed a relevant qualification, such as Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or Bachelor of Commerce
* Willingness to complete additional study or working towards eligibility for CAANZ or CPA postgraduate study
* Possess high levels of attention to detail
* Confidence when communicating and excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong IT skills as well as willing and able to learn new technologies
* Professionalism, partnered with an organised and proactive style.
