Brite is looking for an experienced barista and an all-rounder that has excellent customer service standards and is a people's person to join our small cafe team at Brite Cafe.

Nestled in the heart of the Broadmeadows Industrial Park, Brite Cafe is a place that is not just for exceptional coffee and delicious food, but a symbol of inclusivity and opportunity. This cafe is our second location and joins our Brite Café located at our main site on Belfast Street, Broadmeadows which provides a service to all Brite employees, staff and visitors.

To be successful in this role, you will need to show:
* a passion for coffee, food and customer service
* you are motivated to serve a great cup of coffee
* high-standard barista skills on a commercial machine
* fast turnaround of orders
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* ability to work in a fast-paced environment and show initiatives during quiet periods
* support the management of stock levels
* experience following health and safety policies and procedures, legislation and standards
* 2 or more years' experience in similar role
* be ready to jump in and start immediately
This position is primarily part-time Monday-Friday 9am-2pm, and the successful applicant will be required to provide coverage for the Head Barista when on leave. Full-time hours are available for negotiation.
As a profit-for-purpose social enterprise and registered charity that provides services to people with disability, all Brite staff are required to successfully apply for NDIS Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
