Sr. Program Manager, Amazon Stores and Amazon Businesses, Japan & Australia, APM Stores/AB Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of Advertising and eCommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon's mobile and desktop websites, proprietary devices and the Amazon Advertising Platform. The APM Stores GTM team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to take our Amazon Stores premium ad products in Japan, Australia to the next level. This includes leading our advertising program strategy for the most important, highest trafficked pages such as Homepage/ Detail pages/ Amazon Business Homepage, and highest traffic periods such as Prime Day and Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Your challenge will be to not only streamline and improve mechanisms, but also re-invent how advertising will power these marquee events for our customers. The person in this role will have program ownership for – Japan, Australia (and soon Singapore, and Korea) – driving program strategy and delivery, metrics and data, customer experience, packaging/marketing, and advertiser experience. They will work closely with the Tech Biz Dev owner in APAC to expand these programs to more locales (e.g., Singapore and Korea) and to additional ad demand programs. Core skill areas for this role include program launch and marketing, data collection and analytics. You will be expected to establish a vision and key priorities for the program, make appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams. Maturity, high judgment, ability to influence, and leadership are essential to success in this role. The right candidate will possess a strong program management background, and have experience leading medium to large products and programs. Key job responsibilities Partner with Tech BD Lead for APAC to identify and prioritize needs for the business. Work closely with WW Execution Lead to develop plans that meet operational requirements, project manage the delivery of sponsorship solutions, and ensure that stakeholders have all the inputs required for flawless operation. Partner across Amazon Advertising organization (Yield, Design, Advertising Operations, Account teams) to execute on event launches. Track and report on performance, ensuring each program is delivering differentiated value against its intended objective. Leverage customer feedback to drive continuous program improvement. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs vs. technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences. Present confidently to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences. Work at all levels in the organization, with no job being considered too large or small.
