Your new role
As Scrum Master, you will support project teams with varying competency levels and build the teams' knowledge of agile values, principles, techniques and tools. You will plan and facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning and reviews as well as retrospectives. In collaboration with the Delivery Manager, you will review and refine the backlog, assess the relevance of tasks and stories and re-prioritise where needed to ensure alignment with agile principles. In order for the team to remain focused and work effectively, you will identify risks and remove blockers. You will be integral in building the teams' capabilities and ensuring the team adheres to the agreed agile processes. Additionally, you will lead and train stakeholders inside and outside IT Services to assist with Scrum adoption and the planning and implementation of agile ways of working.
What you'll need to succeed
* Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master using Agile delivery methodologies across multiple teams concurrently
* Experience implementing Agile values, principles and practices and their effective application
* Proven experience coaching teams in agile ways of working
* Demonstrated ability/experience in complex ICT projects where multiple interdependencies exist
* Scrum Master certification

This is a 12-month initial contract with the potential for extension, offering flexible working arrangements. Remote working arrangements can be discussed for the right candidate. The maximum daily rate on offer is $850 plus super. Please note that remote candidates will need to be based on the east coast of Australia and hold current working rights.
