Live and work on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW Work in a dynamic and service focused team Tool of trade vehicle available About the role The role of Telemetry and Instrumentation Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Council's Water and Sewer electronic infrastructure, instrumentation and control systems.
This role will see you completing complex troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installation of communication and networking equipment; instrumentation and control equipment, digital radio and microwave service equipment; SCADA and Telemetry systems to support the operation of water and sewerage automation networks.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have: A Diploma of Electrical Engineering or Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation & Control OR demonstrated equivalent qualification with relevant experience.
A current NSW Electrical Supervisors Licence.
A current Class C Drivers Licence.
A valid Construction - General Induction Card - NSW Work Safe or equivalent.
A current Safe Working at Heights qualification or willingness to obtain this qualification.
Other important information The salary range for this position ranges between $85.8k - $103k plus 11.5% superannuation plus a $18.92 per week working allowance.
This is a Permanent full-time role.
This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
This role is located at the Erina Works Depot.
Successful candidates will be required to have vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undertake and pass a Confined Spaces medical.
Council may create an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
