In this role, you will act as a key partner to the operations team, working closely with them to drive growth & performance.Job DescriptionAs the Head of Finance you will manage the financial operations for the Australian and New Zealand subsidiaries, offering commercial, strategic, and operational financial leadership.
You will bring a solid combination of controllership experience, complemented by operational excellence, commercial acumen, and strategic vision.Other key responsibilities will include the following: Prepare and submit accurate and timely monthly management reports, annual financial reports, and ensure compliance with local and group standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Lead the budgeting, monthly 12-month rolling forecast, and long-term strategic planning processes.
Provide insightful financial analysis and business recommendations to support decision-making across the organisation.
Ensure the integrity of financial data and reporting, driving continuous improvement in processes and systems.
Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and capital expenditure budgeting.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align financial goals with the company's strategic objectives.
Manage and mentor the finance team, promoting a high-performance culture focused on excellence and accountability.
The Successful Applicant CA/CPA qualified with previous experience working in a similar hands-on position within the FMCG or manufacturing industry Strong experience preparing and submitting accurate and timely monthly management and annual financial reports in alignment with both local and group standards (IFRS/GAAP) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional operational teams Previous ERP experience and advanced MS Excel skills Experience in small-to-medium-sized businesses is an advantage What's on Offer A collaborative and supportive team environment Opportunity to make a real impact on the business during a period of growth Competitive salary package on offer WFH and flexibility options available.
