Job Description
Seeking an experienced and dynamic Pub Venue Manager to join a reputable family-owned company located in the heart of Gisborne, Victoria. The establishment boasts a lively pub atmosphere paired with top-notch gaming facilities. This role requires a confident and enthusiastic leader with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will possess strong compliance knowledge in line with gaming industry standards, excellent training and coaching abilities, and the capability to run the venue autonomously.
Responsibilities
* Oversee Venue Operations: Manage the smooth running of the pub, bistro, sports bar, and gaming rooms.
* Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to gaming industry regulations and compliance standards.
* Training and Coaching: Train and mentor staff to provide exceptional service and maintain high standards.
* Customer Service: Foster a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring patrons have an enjoyable and memorable experience.
* Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and maximise revenue generation opportunities.
* Team Leadership: Inspire and lead a team of dedicated professionals to achieve operational excellence.
* Reporting: Provide regular reports to the management regarding venue performance and customer feedback.
Requirements
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong understanding of compliance requirements within the gaming industry.
* Strong gaming industry knowledge.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
* Proven ability to train and coach staff effectively.
* Experience in managing bistro, sports bar, and gaming rooms.
* Passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* Must have valid RSG, Gaming License and RSA
