Key Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of advanced and routine surgeries, including soft tissue, orthopaedic, and emergency procedures.
Collaborate with veterinary professionals to diagnose and treat complex medical and surgical cases.
Maintain excellent client communication throughout the surgical process, from initial consultation to post-operative care.
Ensure that surgical protocols are followed, and patient safety is prioritised at all times.
Guide and support the continuing education and professional development of the surgical staff.
Work in collaboration with hospital leadership to support the hospital’s growth and enhance the surgical service offering.

About You:
Qualifications:DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree with an active license to practice veterinary medicine in Victoria, Australia.
Experience:Minimum of 10 years of surgical experience, including expertise in soft tissue, orthopaedic, and emergency surgeries with a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Lead Surgeon
Exceptional diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to handle complex cases.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with veterinary professionals and support staff.
