The Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Leads the claims and administration operations of the Motor Accidents Insurance Board, ensuring the needs of claimants are met and contributing to a sustainable compulsory third-party motor insurance scheme for Tasmanians.
About the Role
* Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), providing high-level leadership and oversight of claims, administration, and corporate services.
* Drives the delivery of excellent customer services and guides the relevant leadership team members.
* Inspires all staff and fosters a client-centric culture with a genuine care for people.
Your Background
* A background in Insurance, Human Services (Aged Care, NDIS, etc.), or aligned industries is essential.
* An understanding of how the Motor Accidents Insurance Board functions is crucial.
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Insurance, Business, Health, Social Science/Policy, or other relevant disciplines) and/or extensive senior management qualifications and experience are necessary.
