PKF Sydney & Newcastle is seeking an experienced manager to join our rapidly growing Pharmacy Services team. This is a permanent role within a flexible working fun environment, based in Newcastle or Sydney.
We are a mid-tier practice, and a national award-winning accounting, tax and business advisory firm. This position is focused on providing specialised services to pharmacy businesses throughout Australia.
Primarily responsible for assisting clients to prepare financial and management accounting reports and their tax compliance obligations. This position requires the ability to identify issues and provide solutions in a proactive manner.

Key responsibilities
Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for our pharmacy business clients, preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, pharmacy business valuations, pharmacy purchase due diligence, cashflow planning and budgeting, tax planning and ongoing advice
What you need to apply
This position requires a highly organised, executional team player with excellent initiative. Ability to build trust and relationships with clients is key. You will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you must have been exposed to clients operating pharmacy businesses or have a passion for specialising in the industry. You will have experience in managing a portfolio of clients and a team of people.
CA or CPA qualifications with 10+ years' experience in a business advisory services role and having previous experience in managing a portfolio of clients.
