Our Tasmania State Sales Manager is accountable and responsible for deployment of InfraBuild Steel and Tube’s sales strategy and the performance of the Tasmanian sales team. This is a senior sales leadership role. The successful candidate must have significant experience in the construction or industrial market and bring established client relationships within the construction market that enable immediate impact. A key outcome of the role is to deliver on budget performance of key sales KPI’s, as well as working alongside our internal Project Delivery model, Commercial Management, Scheduling and Operations Teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Effective leadership, management development of two Account Managers and three Customer service Officer’s
• Provide direction and oversight for Tasmania’s business development, including significant contracts, project tracking and pricing
• Identify and manage/implement forecast stock levels
• Monitor and develop corrective action plans to address national sales shortfalls or over-sells
• Develop and ensure adherence to pricing agreement policies and Pricing Limits of Authority
• Maintain and develop InfraBuild Steel and Tube’s market position by building on existing relationships and expanding market share
• CRM maintenance and management within Tasmania
• Prepare sales and performance reports as required
• Project identification, budget forecasting and business plans
• Bid Development and negotiation
• Final sign off and project handover
You will be passionate and enthusiastic about the building industry and what InfraBuild has to offer in the market. Your previous experience and demonstrated success in sales will be highly advantageous to your success in this role.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• A strong and successful sales background within the building or construction industry
• Knowledge of and experience within the Steel industry, desirable
• Experience in managing people to achieve key performance targets, including mentoring
• Current full drivers licence
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong IT skills and experience using a CRM
