About the Role: Reporting to the Technical Manager, this position performs a variety of Quality Control tests and inspections at regular frequencies, provides feedback to production staff to help drive production and maintain food safety and quality. The role requires a hands-on and energetic person with a high level of organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately. This is a permanent full-time position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conduct QC line verification activities on semi-finished and finished products. Conduct QC tests on finished products and report any deviations within specified timeframes. Report Food Safety and Quality in-process non-conformances to the QA department. Report outcomes within specified timeframes and ensure nonconforming product is quarantined. Maintain QC records to provide objective evidence that product conforms to the appropriate requirements. To be successful in the role: The successful applicant will have an eye for detail, ability and experience with manufacturing QC activities. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following qualities: Ability to adapt to change and work to given instructions. Comfortable with hands-on work in a fast-paced environment. Good numerical, verbal, and written communication skills. QC experience and industry knowledge is preferred.
