The role:
A career defining role based at one of the most iconic commercial buildings in Australia, Knight Frank Australia are looking to appoint a Commercial Manager to oversee the financial performance and continuous improvement of this substantial precinct located in Melbourne’s mid town.
The role will report directly to the Precinct General Manager, routinely liaise with the ownership group, and work alongside a multi-disciplined onsite team comprising FM, Finance, Marketing and Project Management subject matter experts.
With strong financial acumen, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and a collaborative approach, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for financial forecasting, annual budgeting, routine reporting and driving positive leasing outcomes.

Key responsibilities:
* Provide professional commercial management expertise at the precinct
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including co-owners, tenants and operational staff
* Provide leadership to a team of colleagues and several direct reports
* Drive the financial performance to improve the value of the precinct
* Prepare reports capturing property performance, aged debtors, leasing, operational and sustainability metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Who are we looking for?
* Have relevant experience in a similar property management or commercial role
* Relevant degree preferable, i.e. Bachelor of Business (Property), Bachelor of Commerce
* Hold a valid and current Agents Representative license/Certificate of Registration (essential)
* Possess competent skills in utilising the MS Office Suite
* Demonstrable track record managing income and expenditure at property level
* Hold strong analytical skills in conjunction with high attention to detail
* Possess strong organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
* Be a confident communicator with a demonstrated ability to engage within a team
* Look for opportunities to contribute, innovate and add value
* Demonstrate initiative and a proven ability to work autonomously
* Be able to coordinate recommendations and reports
