A blend of technical expertise, strong leadership, and IT proficiency will be essential to drive efficiency and meet project deadlines.Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Manage and mentor shop floor staff, allocate tasks, and foster collaboration and accountability. Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to WHS standards and lead proactive safety initiatives. Scheduling and Planning: Oversee project schedules to ensure seamless workflow from fabrication to delivery. Operational Management: Maintain high standards in welding, fabrication, and surface treatment while managing consumables, inventory, and equipment. Technical Guidance: Provide expertise and problem-solving support to maintain quality outputs and continuous improvement. Communication: Lead toolbox talks and facilitate effective production handovers. IT Skills: Leverage digital tools for scheduling, reporting, and operational management. Requirements Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and CNC processes. Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and drive Lean principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with IT systems and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
