Facilities and Infrastructure specialists are looking for a Lab Technician for a temporary to permanent role based in Cannington.Your new companyPermanent opportunity possibleUp to $36phMonday - FridayYour new roleAs an experienced Lab Technician, your duties will include the following:Collect samples and analyse them using chemical and physical laboratory testsPrepare the samples for testing by weighing, drying, crushing and pulverisingComplete Atomic Absorption processes to read metal concentrationsOperate mills, crushers and splittersSet up, clean and maintain laboratory equipment, including automated machineryPerform accurate analysis and meet set deadlinesImplement QA/QC systems to ensure quality standards are metFollow safety procedures in accordance with relevant guidelines and report any safety incidents or identified hazards.Support other departments - operations, maintenance, and geology etc.Maintain stock levels of chemicalsWhat you'll need to succeedYou will need previous experience in the role and have a Cert IV.
