About the role:
An exciting opportunity to join Infant, Child, & Youth Mental Health Service in our Perinatal Emotional Health Program (PEHP) for a fixed term (maternity leave cover). You will be providing follow-up and support for women experiencing emotional health problems during pregnancy and early parenthood. You may be providing psychological intervention to help manage symptoms or coordination of referrals to appropriate support services. We work closely with other community agencies, such as Maternal & Child Health, this is a unique opportunity to learn more about the broader local service system.
We are looking for:
* Five years’ experience in mental health and registration as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, or Social Worker. Social workers must be eligible for membership with AASW. Registered Nurses must hold a post-graduate diploma in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing.
* Keen interest in perinatal emotional health & wellbeing.
* Familiarity with Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) Perinatal Mental Health Guidelines 2023 National Guidelines.
