Apply now Job no: 501665 Work type: Casual Location: Rockhampton Categories: Supply Chain Operations About the roleMater's Supply Chain Operations Team are searching for a Supply Chain Operations Assistant to join us in a casual capacity at our Rockhampton Private Hospital.This role will see you provide support to the regional Supply Chain Operations team through efficient inventory and warehouse operational support. The role is proactive in ensuring a seamless workflow of inventory receipt and distribution to Mater customers, and in ensuring timely communication which supports quality stock control.Ensure accurate receipt, distribution, and timely delivery of goods in the warehouseCollaborate with the Supply Chain Operations team to address order and stock issuesSupport stocktake activities and maintain high-quality stock control processesFollow imprest management processes and contribute to improving the systemDemonstrate attention to detail and adhere to updated processesProvide support to Mater customers and contribute to safe and effective operationsCommunicate effectively with the regional leadership teamSupport team development through meetings and learning activitiesContribute ideas and feedback for ongoing improvementPromote Mater Group and Mater Health values internally and externallyAdhere to procurement and supply chain governance rulesFollow Work Health and Safety guidelines and report incidentsParticipate in meetings and other forums as requiredUndertake additional duties as requestedAbout youCertificate II in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage) desirableDemonstrated experience in warehousing operations in a large organizationExperience with inventory management platforms, including imprest managementPrior healthcare inventory and warehousing experience preferredOrganized and detail-oriented self-starterProactive and collaborative team player focused on customer outcomesStrong service delivery focus and ability to work in a team environmentCommitment to continuous improvement and providing feedback for service enhancementDemonstrates commitment to personal well-being and safe workplacesActively seeks to improve health, safety, and environmental performanceApplications close on 22nd October 2024.
