* The Acute Medical Unit is a 25-bed unit with 9 negative pressure rooms, providing care for higher acuity medical patients.

The Role:
* The role of the Clinical Nurse Educator is to facilitate and support the development of the nursing workforce by planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating education programs in the clinical setting/ward/unit.
The occupant of this role is responsible for:
* Effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of a range of educational programs and activities for the nursing workforce.
* Consulting, liaising with, and assisting the Nurse Unit Manager with implementation of education-related activities associated with performance development plan(s).
* Program delivery across a range of practice settings and learner groups as required.
* Actively participating in his/her own continuing professional development.
Details of appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker, working 60 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
