The role:
Manage and contribute to the development, publication, implementation, dissemination, and compliance to technical policies, standards, Release documentation and Knowledgebase Articles.
In this role, you will be required to provide expert advice and support to Delivery Services Branch in regards to the ‘Always Current' policies and practises, and represent eHealth Queensland in the ‘Always Current Governance Committee' and the ‘Always Current Operation Working group'.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Manage and contribute to the development, publication, implementation, dissemination, and compliance to technical policies, standards, Release documentation and Knowledgebase Articles.
2. Engage the necessary Service Managers and other stakeholders to assess any newly identified risks during the rollout of the Release, and ensure that any implementation issues are documented, investigated and resolved.
3. Maintain and manage effective working relationships and engage with third parties that provide technical support for the enterprise infrastructure.

4. Demonstrated high level ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration management
5. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people including senior management, technical stakeholders, and external service providers to make decisions
6. Well-developed project management skills and knowledge including high level ability in the areas of planning, managing resources, and process compliance
7. Proven ability to meet service delivery targets and implement quantifiable service improvements by managing workloads, priorities and working unsupervised
8. Anticipates and is responsive to customer and stakeholder needs and expectations; takes personal responsibility for meeting objectives and progressing work; shows initiative and does what is required. (NHS Collaborative Working & Drive for Improvement)
Proven understanding and high level technical knowledge of the following technology domains, to provide technical direction, standardisation, and professional advice and support for enterprise service delivery in a large customer focused organisation
9. Current Microsoft desktop technologies
10. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager administration and configuration
11. Directory Services (Microsoft Active Directory and Novell eDirectory)
12. Active Directory Group Policy administration and configuration
13. Application packaging technologies (MSI, application virtualisation, scripting technologies)
14. Enterprise printing solutions
15. Proven ability to lead, manage and mentor teams of strategic and operational ICT professionals in line with contemporary human resource management practices to achieve defined service levels in the integrated operation of complex enterprise information services
16. Understand, support and promote the organisation's vision, mission and business objectives. Ability to communicate the vision for improved service delivery and bring it alive, inspire people to contribute and lead change initiatives

17. Participating in on-call arrangements may be a requirement of this position, appropriate remuneration under the Award will apply
