LOCATIONS estate agents Gladstone is looking for a dedicated agency Receptionist to join our high performance team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic, independent agency offering a professional and personalised real estate service.
The role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. Suitably qualified applicants will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a receptionist or in an administration and/or personal assistant role.
The role of the Receptionist starts as being the face of the business and generally the first impression and point of contact between the agency and our clients and community. The Receptionist role is critical in smoothly managing the daily operations of the business. The Receptionist assists with various Property Management, Sales and Administration queries and support, and can efficiently direct communication to the appropriate staff member if and when required. Calendar management of the team is also required.
The right person will have a passion for excellent customer service and engagement whilst working as a part of an established team. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, including a high level of computer and tech literacy. Phone manner and etiquette are an absolute must.
Tasks include all aspects of a receptionist role including serving clients in person while also managing a high volume of calls and emails. While we have a dedicated accounts person who completes daily banking, reconciliations and invoicing procedures, you will also be required to learn this element of the role.
THE ROLE INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING (BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO):
* Professional greeting of clients and contractors as they enter and leave the office reception area
* Notifying team members for clients in the office
* Data entry and admin support
* Keeping the front reception area clean and tidy at all times
* Answering the phone and redirecting to the relevant team member or scheduling an appointment if required
* Assisting with general enquiries via phone, email and in person
* Team diary management and booking appointments as required
* Assisting with daily mail and banking including rent receipting
* Management of storage shed bookings, applications and deposit processing
* Document preparation, collation and distribution
* Database management and updates for new tenants and landlords
* Processing applications from start to finish including tenancy set up and approval emails where required
* Management of property access and keys
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL:
* Be an independent and self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision but also as part of a team
* Hold a current Queensland Real Estate Registration Certificate or be willing to attain one ASAP
* Hold a current drivers licence
* Emulate agency core values including respect, integrity, results, transparency, resourcefulness, communication and community
* Have a willingness to learn and continue their professional and personal development
* Have the ability to work under pressure and possess excellent time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with real estate software including Rex, PropertyMe, IRE, RP Data and Realworks
* Excellent computer literacy and touch typing speed as well as attention to detail including document control and data management

Remuneration will be assessed based on the applicant's current employee classification as per the Clerical Award.
