Your new roleReporting to the Chief Member Officer, the General Manager, Retirement is the Senior Leader responsible and accountable for increasing the Fund's focus and aspiration for the retirement segment and accelerating delivery of the retirement strategy. Ensuring the Fund has a product offering spanning accumulation, retirement and insurance that is sustainable, competitively priced and appropriate to the Fund's target segments. This includes the design and delivery of the Fund's guidance and advice solutions for members to meet the Fund's 2035 Fund Strategy ambition to deliver guidance to 100% of members.Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and deliver an integrated roadmap to deliver on the Fund's Retirement Business Strategy.Accountable for undertaking assessment of retirement outcomes in alignment with the Trustee's obligations under the Retirement Income Covenant.Lead the design, development and delivery of all products to members including superannuation, insurance and retirement products and pricing.Responsible for the design, development and delivery of digital and human led member guidance and advice solutions to meet member segment needs. Including digital guidance, education, tools and advice, human led education, help, limited and comprehensive advice and adviser services to meet member needs.Represent the Fund in advocacy, promotion and industry leadership relating to retirement, including external media opportunities on retirement as required.Represent Retirement at Board and Committees.Influence and align key internal and external stakeholders to deliver on the Fund's Retirement and Guidance Strategies.What you'll needDemonstrated ability to design and implement strategy in line with Member expectations and strategic ambitions.Deep understanding of the retirement market.Demonstrated ability to lead diverse and dispersed teams to deliver on a strategy.Ability to translate member preferences, regulatory requirements and the Fund's strategic ambitions to workable and measurable solutions.Knowledge of competitive practices and competitive environments.Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong public speaking experience and experienced in developing, preparing and presenting papers for board/committees.Understanding of the industrial relations landscape.Life at AustralianSuperAustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
