Flinders Island Multipurpose Centre, Tasmanian Health Service, Primary Health North
* The Flinders Island Multi-Purpose Centre comprises nine aged care beds, five acute beds, an outpatient and emergency service, physiotherapy, x-ray, podiatry/footcare and visiting services.
* It is one of 8 district hospitals working together to form part of Primary Health North Tasmania.
* The FIMPC offers health and community services to the island community of approximately 900 people.
The Role:
You will need:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work both independently and as a member of our multidisciplinary team.
* Experience in working with aged people and people living with dementia.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, part-time, day worker position, working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $67,193 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
Salary Packaging:
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
* District Allowances of up to $4,618 per annum for a family.
* Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of $3,699 per annum and an additional salary allowance of 10%.
