We are currently seeking an exceptional Head Chef with extensive experience, creativity, and dedication to lead a team of chefs and utility staff. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering top-notch food to our guests. Flavour, presentation and flair are a daily expectation in this role and the ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years' Head Chef experience. The Role 8:6 Roster from Perth Hands on Leadership role, overseeing a small team Oversee dining room operations to ensure a seamless service experience Maintain effective client and business relationships with the client onsite Responsible for stock control, budgets, rostering, mentoring & training staff Buffet style cooking for Breakfast, Crib, Lunch, and / or Dinner and Desserts Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimum Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards Chef Trade Qualifications No Cert 3 Excepted FIFO Experience Preferable but willing to consider Hospitality Professionals with bulk cooking experience. Passion for producing great food, full of flavour and presented with pride. Experience within bulk catering environments Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations Experience in menu writing, rostering and cost control Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines Current valid Driver's License Forklift Ticket an advantage Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain one) Your application will include the following questions: Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
