The Manager Capital Strategy & Projects is accountable tothe Director of Infrastructure & Assets for leading strategicinfrastructure planning and delivery across the SAPOL built assetportfolio, including development, implementation and timelydelivery of the capital works and minor works programmes withinapproved budgets, and providing positive and effective managementoversight to ensure a high performing Capital Strategy &Projects Unit.
The position requires a high level of leadership, judgement,management capability, initiative and direction in all aspects ofthe formulation and implementation of the capital works and minorworks programs, leading the development of SAPOL’s StrategicInfrastructure Plan, and maintaining strategic focus on theidentification of opportunities for capital efficiency andproductivity improvements for each Project.
As a key member of the Physical Assets Services Branchmanagement team, the role contributes to the promotion andprovision of effective leadership, vision and strategicinitiatives, to ensure the Branch delivers valued and qualityservices, and represents SAPOL in complex and sensitivenegotiations with other agencies and service providers.

3. Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
