The Opportunity Our Supply Chain Planning team is currently seeking a Demand Planner for a permanent position to be based in our SMART Macquarie Park office NSW or Gepps Cross SA.
The Demand Planner will lead and animate a collaborative planning process with key participants including offer management, commercial and finance together with supporting key assumptions and changes undertaken in each forecast cycle.
Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, the Demand Planner will play a pivotal role in the profitability of the business unit portfolio and its growth ambitions in the Pacific region.
This exciting new career opportunity will see you: Analyze sales forecast vs revenue forecast and identify core gapsAssign root causes for gaps and mitigate them in forecast meetingsDrive forecast and demand integrationEvaluate impact of sales forecast on working capital, on-time delivery serviceEvaluate forecast accuracy and bias with standard root cause codificationOur ideal candidate will possess: Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management (Masters level or a similar relevant discipline)5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain across production, purchasing, logistics, and planningAdvanced skills in Statistical Modelling, Certified Professional Forecaster (IBF certified is a value-add)Proven analytical, statistical and data processing experience in a relevant roleAdvanced knowledge of technical tools including Oracle, Forecasting tool (Kinaxis), MS Excel (advanced power query), TableauUnderstanding of Business Management and MarketingProven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholder groups and strong commercial acumenA growth mindset through well-developed digital skills and a technical aptitudeWell-developed interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to have a customer-centric approachAll applicants must have working rights in Australia at the time of application and will be required to provide documented evidence if selected for an interview.
