We are seeking experienced professionals to join our consultancy team for this pivotal project across various roles. Position Title: Project Manager Location: Brisbane In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison for client interactions, fostering positive working relationships through effective communication and collaboration with in-house technical teams and other key stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong client connections while managing communications and tracking progress to secure necessary approvals. Additionally, you will oversee the planning, scheduling, and delivery of project activities, ensuring that objectives are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be vital in cultivating a collaborative and engaged environment among all stakeholders, ultimately driving the project toward its successful completion. Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, securing necessary approvals, and addressing any project-related challenges with practical solutions. Project Coordination: Lead project execution by managing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, while providing comprehensive support to the project team to ensure that timelines and project objectives are successfully achieved. Process Development: Develop and implement robust processes and best practices for successful project delivery, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement within the project framework. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and oversee the creation of progress reports, specifications, and technical documentation as required by the company and its clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communications. Team Development: Foster the growth of the project team by mentoring junior engineers and enhancing their project management skills and methodologies. Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial and project management, preferably in electrical or energy-related projects. Expertise in client relationship management, ensuring client satisfaction and building long-term partnerships. Flexible and consistent in approach, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, enabling clear and effective interaction with diverse audiences and stakeholders. Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including proficiency in MS Project and other industry-standard software. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex and varied workloads efficiently. Commitment to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Position Title: Electrical Design Liaison Location: Brisbane In this predominately site-based role, you will serve as a crucial link between the on-site construction teams and the electrical design team, ensuring that construction activities align with established electrical designs. Your presence on-site will be essential for monitoring the implementation of designs, addressing discrepancies, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders to ensure the project’s success. Key Responsibilities: On-Site Liaison: Act as the primary interface between the construction teams, suppliers and the electrical design team, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution. Design Oversight: Monitor construction activities to verify compliance with electrical designs and specifications, identifying and addressing deviations early to maintain project integrity. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to facilitate smooth project execution and secure timely approvals. Documentation: Prepare and manage reports and documentation related to scope variations, progress updates, and compliance with quality standards. Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with the project management team and other junior & senior engineers to track key milestones, manage technical resource allocation, and ensure efficient project execution. Essential Skills & Experience: Relevant industrial experience in site installation management, especially in electrical projects (greenfield and brownfield). Strong project management and client relationship skills, with a solid understanding of electrical installations and safety standards. Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex information clearly. Highly organised and able to manage a diverse workload using project management tools effectively.
