About the role As a Senior Project Planner, you will be reporting to Project Controls Manager via the Lead Planner. This is a FIFO role from Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney. It is a 2:1 Roster. 10.5 hour working days when on site. Responsibilities Crucial support to the planning and overall Project Controls department. Grow the existing team and knowledge base to support a robust Project Controls environment Support and engage with overall Engineering and Delivery team to effectively transfer project information. Provide insight and support regarding schedule trends and forecasts to Management. Supply timely and accurate forecasts Developing schedules for Engineering (FEED and Detailed Design). Creating Resource Loaded Project Schedules. Updating of schedule progress. Reasoning of resource requirements and forecasting. Reporting – Portfolio and Project, Earned Value Management, S-Curves, Resource Histograms. Baseline maintenance and change management and manage the interface between the cost system and Primavera. Stakeholder Engagement. What you’ll have Experienced in multi-industries (Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, etc.) Previous working experience in a formidable sustaining capital and major refurbishment environment. Extensive experience and an advanced user in Primavera P6. Experience in EcoSys will be highly regarded and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Tertiary qualification relevant to Planning and Scheduling in complex programs. Extensive years of Project Planning experience, with relevant years of experience in Engineering Schedule development/management in mining. Sound knowledge of change management, baseline management, schedule development, Risk Evaluate, Earned Value Management. Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
