Alstom is seeking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join their team in Rouse Hill to carry out maintenance and troubleshooting on a fleet of trains and various depot infrastructure repairs. Description You will carry out preventative maintenance programmes on the fleet of trains and Depot Infrastructure repairs/maintenance (e.g., troubleshooting, duty checks, inspections, component changes and overhaul of various rolling stock parts) Investigating faults on mechanical, pneumatic, and other components. Refurbishment and modification of rolling stock including the replacement and upgrading of components and systems. Responding to service breakdowns and taking part in a 'first response situation' should emergencies in service arise. Profile You must be a pro-active individual who is passionate about problem solving and have the following: Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical. Trade qualifications Mechanical or similar. 3 yrs experience in technical functions. Railway industry experience is preferred. Troubleshooting experience desired.
