Our established firm serves a diverse range of clients, from commercial businesses to corporate schemes, across all General Insurance products.
Position Overview:
As a key member of our team, you will report to the State Manager, Broking, and take charge of our main General Insurance lines portfolio, including ancillary lines.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact and drive the success of our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities: Build and manage a client-oriented portfolio.Oversee the performance and profitability of accounts, with policy sizes ranging from $10k to $30k in fees and commissions.Secure new business and ensure high renewal retention rates.Identify and implement strategies for efficiency and growth.Provide technical and market support to colleagues.To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need: 10+ years of experience as a Broker or Underwriter in the insurance space.A strong technical background in Business Packs, Marine & Cargo, Product Recall, ISR, Public & Product Liability, with foundational knowledge of Financial Lines (ML, Cyber, PI).Well-established market networks within the insurance sector.A creative approach to developing new business opportunities.Ability to devise alternative solutions for clients and colleagues.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.What's on Offer:
