We follow scaled agile and DevSecOps practices to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery. As the Domain Lead Engineer, you will lead the engineering efforts for our Appointment Booking, Scheduling, and Work Optimization platform, which is crucial for managing and dispatching field technicians. You will coordinate development activities across the technology domain, working closely with the Domain Iteration Manager and POD DevSecOps Managers. Your role will involve ensuring operational performance and maintaining application lifecycle requirements at the highest level. You will also act as the key technical interface for the technology domain, collaborating with architecture and solution colleagues to define and deliver the backlog of work.You will manage and evaluate team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to execute the work program. You will perform a servant leadership role for the agile team, enabling them to self-organize, self-manage, and drive continuous improvement through effective Lean-Agile practices. Additionally, you will help team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate to meet their delivery goals. As part of the leadership team, you will contribute to developing a high-performing team culture. This includes providing a solid understanding of existing production functionality and platform interactions, supporting Architecture and Delivery teams, and ensuring that domain-level Epics are well-designed and broken down into Stories for specific POD delivery. You will also ensure that non-functional and operational requirements are considered in all designs and appropriately prioritized across the technology domain's work backlogs.A bit about youYou will ideally have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. You will need several years of relevant IT technical experience in the delivery and/or operations of software systems, with at least a few years in a team lead role within an IT environment. Experience working in a Telco or similar business domain is highly desirable. Your domain knowledge of the telecommunications industry, particularly in technology, will be crucial. Familiarity with scheduling and optimization tools like ServiceMax, ServiceNow, Oracle Field Services, or ClickSchedule is essential. Additionally, experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices is required.You will have a proven track record in developing and leading solutions related to appointment booking, scheduling, or field service management. Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or other agile practices is necessary. You should be skilled in presentation, workshop facilitation, questioning, coaching, and interviewing. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You should also have a comprehensive understanding of Agile processes and tools (Jira, SAFe). Your ability to work under general direction within a clear framework of accountability, influence stakeholders, and make decisions that impact project and team success will be key. You should be able to investigate, define, and resolve complex issues, rapidly absorb new information, and apply it effectively.
