Job Description
What To Expect
As a neurology Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside two European boarded neurologists, two registrars and two residents. You'll gain hands-on experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of neurological conditions in small animals. The neurology team is backed up by a 1.5T in house MRI scanner (GE), 16 slice CT scanner, electrodiagnostic facilities and cutting-edge neurosurgery suite with ultrasonic aspirator. This internship will give you access to cutting-edge diagnostic tools and technology and is designed to provide you with in-depth exposure to the field, setting you up for a successful career in veterinary neurology.
Qualifications
You should have:
* A Veterinary degree registerable in Victoria
* Completed a rotating internship
* A strong interest in neurology and a desire to pursue a career in this specialty.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* A commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
