Our Team
The Alfred Health Community Rehabilitation Program provides home and centre-based rehabilitation as well as falls clinic services. Our multidisciplinary team consists of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, a neuropsychologist, allied health assistants, rehabilitation medicine doctors, community health nurses, pharmacists, and social workers.
Job Summary
This is a permanent part-time position (20 hours per week) for a Senior Speech Pathologist to join our supportive team while expanding your clinical expertise and supporting the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent client-centred rehabilitation services to clients both in their homes and at our rehabilitation centre.
* Develop innovative service models and programs in the provision of speech pathology services.
* Provide professional leadership to speech pathology staff working within the community rehabilitation program, including involvement with service development and quality improvement.
Requirements
* Minimum seven years of clinical experience.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated understanding and commitment to principles of continuous quality improvement.
