We offer the opportunity to contribute to local and national buildings projects, plus the ability to expand your design skills across other market sectors.Our recent projects include: UC Sports HubCSIRO Greenhouse RedevelopmentOur Changemakers enjoy:Flexible working hours and a hybrid work environmentA social, collaborative, and inclusive culture with a calendar full of social and networking eventsAccess to our Employee Assistance Program and to corporate health and travel discounts12 weeks parental leaveOptions for global mobility and purchased additional leaveAnd much more.What you'll doAs a Senior Structural Engineer you will: Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects;Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets;Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients;Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally;Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team;Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers;Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.About youThe successful candidate we are looking for will have:Typically 6+ years' experience on medium/large Australian building structures engineering projects, e.g. commercial, retail, defence, health and education;Capacity to manage small-to-medium scale projects autonomously and deliver large-scale projects as part of a team;Excellent steel and post-tensioned (PT) design and inspections skills;Moderate-to-high level of proficiency with such as RAM and RAPT as key engineering software packages;Track record of collaborating effectively with other engineering disciplines on projects;Well versed in liaising effectively with external stakeholders;Understanding of BIM, NavisWorks and Revit Structure would be beneficial, but not essential.About WSPWSP is one of the world's leading engineering professional services consulting firms, bringing together approximately 6,000 talented people across 14 offices in Australia.
